Today, the fan was stricken by feces. I mean, it was good feces . . . not the smelly kind. The kind I usually produce; smells like roses, comes out with a bow and looks like a pony. That kind of feces.
I was only supposed to work till 3 today because Conoco was shooting two pilots for the same show today. They wanted to split the day up so interns wouldn’t be there for 11 hours. I just happened to volunteer for Audience PA duty, which meant I had to be there to usher in audience members for both tapings. Which called for a long day but, still, a cool opportunity.
I got to mingle with the audience, see that set and get to know some of the Conan employees. Especially the Audience coordinator, Lisa — who was very cool. I even got to drive the gold cart around and deliver writing surveys to the writers of the pilot. That was way cool.
In any case, it’s been a long day and all I want to do is watch storage wars and go to sleep . . . so have a good night everybody. I’ll leave you with some footage of the host of this pilot doing his thing: Pete Holmes.
